Pastor Dave Kaufman, a 1975 graduate of South Dakota State University, and his wife, Jeanne, returned to Brookings to pioneer this vibrant non-denominational church in 1981.

 

Pastor Randyn & Angeline Funderburg also work with Pastor Dave and Jeanne on the full-time staff. There are many other layworkers who serve in the local ministry as well. Together, the Holy Life church hosts two charismatic Pastors Conferences each year that reach over 200 other churches and ministries from many backgrounds across the Midwest with encouragement and support.

 

The Holy Life multi-cultural congregation of 250 is filled with loving and friendly people who are believers in Jesus Christ. There are many nations represented at the Tabernacle who create a joyful atmosphere that is punctuated with lively worship, and you can always hear an encouraging word of victory at each service. We desire to follow JESUS' footsteps and spread FAITH where there is doubt, HOPE where there is despair, and LOVE where there is hate.
